Sinden Lightgun:Contribution rules

Thank you for helping improve the Sinden Wiki. To keep it accurate, safe, and legally sound for everyone, please follow these rules when adding or editing content.

Accuracy

• Only add content you have personally verified and confirmed to be legitimate and correct.
• Do not add speculation, rumors, or unverified claims. If you're not sure, ask on the talk page first rather than guessing.

Linking to files and repositories

• Do not link to files, patches, ROMs, or programs that you do not own and do not have permission to distribute or link to.
• If you link to a file, page, or repository (for example, a GitHub repository) that you own, this is taken as your permission for that content to be used and linked from the Sinden Wiki.
• If you are linking to someone else's work, you must have their explicit permission, or the work must be published under a license that allows it (see below).

Licensing requirements for patches and programs

• Any patch, mod, tool, or program linked from the wiki must be released under a license that either:
  • explicitly allows it to be linked from third-party sites such as this wiki, or
  • does not explicitly prohibit linking, redistribution, or third-party use.
• If a program has no license, or its license forbids redistribution/linking, do not link to it from the wiki.
• If you're unsure about a license's terms, note the license name and a link to it in your edit summary or on the talk page so it can be checked.

Enforcement

• Content that violates these rules may be removed or edited by administrators without notice.
• Repeated violations may result in loss of editing privileges.
